I work in partnership with you and doctors and allied health practitioners to help you relieve both chronic pain and any accompanying stress, anxiety or emotional pain with a range of natural therapies including hypnotherapy, mindfulness,  massage, reiki and acupressure.

The mind/body connection

Phantom Limb pain puzzled many doctors and therapists for many years. Why was it that patients who’s limbs had been amputated still reported pain sensations in the limb as if it was still attached? The answer lies in the brains ability to remember pain and create a memory loop of that pain that can be triggered by sounds, sights, colours, feelings, sensations associated with the initial memory. The same pain memory loops often lie behind our experiences of chronic pain…when an injury should have healed but we are still experiencing pain, or when an   emotional event leads to chronic pain.

These pain memory loops can begin to be released through EFT, a technique that combines tapping gently on acupressure points on the body with cognitive behaviour therapy. EFT is a simple technique to learn and is taught in the first session. Follow up sessions can include hypnotherapy, massage and Reiki.
